Become One

More than anything you need God in your life. Period.
The power that He has to guide and motivate you is magic. Keep in mind that God does not expect perfection. His first human creation, Adam and Eve, sinned against him in the Garden of Eden. Trust me, He knows we have problems and issues and baggage. Just put all of that aside and believe.
Believe today that God is the only answer. Believe today that Jesus is the Son of God and that by his death and resurrection you have been forgiven of every sin that you can commit and have done. Believe today that the power of the Holy Spirit will protect you and convict you to be better and do better. Admit your belief to God and ask Him to forgive you. Then make the choice to desire all of the good things He has in store for you.
Once you take this step you will see.

Now go get yourself a bible and look up the passages we call Romans Road. These scriptures will help you see that God's goal is for your eternal salvation. "For whosoever shal call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved." Romans 10:13. Next, find yourself a church to fellowship with other believers and hear the word of God. You may think you can take this journey alone, but trust us, "behold, how good and how pleasant it is for brothers to dwell together in unity!" Psalm 133:1.
